Correct Engine Block Heater Location for 2011 Hyundai Genesis with 3.8L V6 Engine

Question:
I also have been told by my installer that the exhaust manifold would have to be removed and that the cord would burn on the manifold. Do you have any pictures of the 3.8 heater location?

I checked with the manufacturer, Kat's, about the Kat's Heaters Custom Fit Engine Block Heater part # KH11812 which is a fit for a 2011 Hyundai Genesis with 3.8L V6 Engine. The correct location is on the right rear "RR" side of the engine as seen in the attached photo. Unfortunately, Kat's does not provide exact step by step instructions for installation. It's possibly removal of existing component is required for installation but that will be up to the discretion of the installer.

Your diagram is of a transverse (side to side) mounted inline 4-cylinder engine. The Genesis 3.8 is a longitudinal (front to back) mounted V6 engine.
