Question:
Just installed Item # SSR-108-47 on my stock 2003 f150. Not even close to reaching my axle with the trailer hooked up, still have 2 inches of clearance. No lift installed just a stock F150. Should i have to pay $ to make your $ part work?

The SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs part # SSR-108-47 which are a fit for a 2003 Ford F-150 4x2 are designed to have a gap between the axle and spring of around 1-1/2" while unloaded. If you have a greater distance then there's something not right with the suspension such as a lift kit etc. Unfortunately, there are no spacers to fill a greater distance for this kit. Therefore, you'd be left to either make some sort of spacer of your own or switch to another option like the SuperSprings Suspension Stabilizer and Sway Control Kit part # SSA5MTKT which engage instantly so there will be no gap before they engage like the above. This is my recommendation.
