Can A Variable Flow Water Pump Be Used As a Replacement for a Standard Fresh Water Pump?
Updated 12/05/2022 | Published 12/03/2022 >
Question:
I need to replace my current fresh water pump and I was considering a variable speed pump.I have heard a lot of bad reviews about various variable speed pumps. I was wondering if you have a good variable speed pump or do you not recommend them? I have a motor home with kitchen sink, bathroom sink, shower, dish washer, washing machine, and toilet. Would be nice to be able to use two fixtures at a time.

I have not personally heard of any issues with a varible flow pump like the Seaflo Diaphragm Pump for Boats and RVs - Variable Flow # SE96FR being used as a replacement for a standard fresh water pump.
This water pump is capable of supplying 1-2 fixtures, has an adjustable pressure switch, is self priming, and will connect to standard NPT connections.
I have attached a product review video for you to check out as well.
