How to Set Redarc In-Vehicle BCDC Battery Charger to Lithium Charge Profile

Question:

The question below was my previous question and you gave a great answer. Thanks. Now Im wondering what type or what is the maximum type solar panel will this take. 200 watts more? or less?

To use the Redarc In-Vehicle BCDC Battery Charger # 331-BCDC1225D with a lithium batttery you do need to connect the orange and the green wires together so that the voltage will be correct for that type of battery. A low voltage meter is not required. The optional LED is not required either.

The Redarc is smart enough that it regulates how much solar power it will draw from a panel which allows you to not have to worry about using too big of a panel. The input max of this system is 25 amps which equals 300 watts so anything above that wouldn't be used. We have portable 300 watt panels like with the part # GZ66FR.
