A few years ago I read you could use a hydraulic oil from Catepillar? i do not remember which hydraulic oil they had mentioned! Do you happen to know which hydraulic oil from Catepillar can be used?

I went ahead and reached out to Lippert, and they confirmed that you need automatic transmission fluid Dexron III or Mercon 5 fluid. This works with their hydraulic auto leveling system # LC672136. With that being said, I do not recommend using the hydraulic jack oil from Caterpillar.

Hello Mark, Per the tech at Lippert you are going to want to use AW-32 Hydraulic Fluid, and not an automatic transmission fluid.

For 1/2 inch trailer u-bolts that attach to axle the recommended torque value is between 45 and 70 ft lbs of torque.

When installing the Road Armor Shock Absorbing Equalizers #LC696740 you'll want to use a torque wrench on the bolts and torque them to between 30-lbs/ft and 50-lbs/ft torque. I confirmed this with my tech contact over at Lippert.

In order to determine the torque rating for the lug nuts on your trailer you will need to know check out the chart I attached that shows all of the torque specs for all the trailer lugs available based on stud size, wheel material and wheel size.
