What Are the Torque Specs for Installing Lippert Road Armor Shock Absorbing Equalizers

Question:

Installed road armor on puma fifth wheel, 30 to 50# bolt torque on shackle bolts, unless a slipper spring. Some say tighten locknut then back off. Who is right? Was an easy install, perfect geometry,

When installing the Road Armor Shock Absorbing Equalizers # LC696740 you'll want to use a torque wrench on the bolts and torque them to between 30-lbs/ft and 50-lbs/ft torque. I confirmed this with my tech contact over at Lippert.
