Recommended Snow Tire Chains For A 2022 Tesla Model Y Perfomance

When it comes to the correct tire chains I would need to know what tire size that you currently have on your 2022 Tesla Model Y Performance. The tire size will be stamped onto the tire. There are two standard sizes that we have tire chains listed for on your Tesla are the 255/40-20 and the 255/45-19.

If you have the 255/40-20 I would recommend The Konig Tire Chains # TH2004205117. I like these because they have an easy installation and have the self tensioning feature that will automatically tighten around the tire as you drive making it to where you will not have to stop and tension them.

If you have the 255/45-19 tires we do not have many options. I would recommend The Glacier Cable Tire Chains # PW1042. These chains are for an emergency use and will not last as long as the other tire chains that we have but will still get the job done in your time of need.
