Question:
I have a dri dock boat trailer that has a UFP surge actuator, P/N 34043. I would like to use the trailer without the surge brakes. Do you offer any type of fixed latch that does not slide? My tube channel is 3 wide?

Your UFP surge actuator 34043 is a model A-60 actuator. This is designed for a 2" hitch ball and trailer weighing up to 7,500lbs. I have made a list of different bolt on couplers we carry below you can choose from to bolt in place of the actuator if you choose to remove it completely.

If you prefer to not completely remove the surge coupler and would rather lock it out so the brakes will not activate you can use the Lockout Key # DX94FR. This will sit inside the opening on the outer case and prevent the inner member from sliding back and actuating the brakes.
