Does this product come with directions to indicate the minimum number of required bolts and the required pattern to assure the 10K weight requirement is met?

As the Buyers Products Straight Tongue Trailer Coupler # 3370091560 has 3 holes per side on the part that will bolt to the tongue of the trailer, you will want to use 3 bolts per side, so 6 total. This is kind of a standard, so when there are 2 holes you go 2 per side, and 3 holes, you go 3 per side. The mounting holes are 1/2" and you will want to make sure you are using at least grade 5 bolts. This will give you plenty of strength.
