First the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e98869 will give you a receiver if you do not already have one on your 2023 Nissan Frontier. The T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118266 will provide you with a 7-way connector and the necessary relays to activate the factory wiring if you do not have a 7-way on your Frontier.
I recommend adding the Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty Brake Controller # RED24FR with the Plug-and-Play Wiring Harness # RED39FR. This will allow you to connect to the factory wiring and give you a low profile controller. The control knob can be mounted on the dash where it is easy to access, while the main control unit is secured behind the dash.
Finally you will want to use a Fastway e2 Weight Distribution Hitch # FA92-00-0800 with your trailer. This will help to evenly distribute the weight across your Frontier and reduce trailer sway while you drive. Both of which will make your drive much safer and less stressful for the driver. This particular hitch is for trailers with 400-800lbs of tongue weight and a maximum weight of 8,000lbs total trailer weight. You will need either a 2" # EQ91-00-6080 or 2-5/16" # EQ91-00-6100 to match your trailer coupler along with a 1-7/8" 12pt Thin Walled Socket # ALL643216 to install it on the hitch.
