Troubleshooting Why The Rear View Safety Rear View Mirror # RVS-718 Shows Everything Backwards

Question:
Hello we bought a camera system with a rear view mirror and it seems to be glitching. Sometimes it comes up but it’s all backwards. Or some times it doesn’t come up at all.

After installing The Rear View Safety Rear View Mirror with Monitor # RVS-718, per the manufacturer they state that there is more then likely a possible short within the camera. They recommend to check all the connections such as the ground, and make sure that they're all secured. If that checks out try taking out the camera plug, and plugging it into a different camera port to see if you get the same effect on a different channel.
