Can Curt Trailer Hitch for 2022 Ram 1500 Safely Carry 100 lb Wheelchair and 125 lb Carrier

Question:

Would this hitch be a good choice for carrying my wifes wheelchair 100 lbs on a carrier that weighs 125 lbs? Thanks for your help.

Expert Reply:

The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13419 has a tongue weight rating of 600 lbs so it is more than able to handle the combined 225 lbs of tongue weight you'll be placing on it.

Please note this is designed to fit the Class III tow bumper so you want to make sure that's what you have on your 2022 Ram 1500.
