Currently the Curt CrossWing Lightweight 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # C86JR is only made to fit industry standard base rails, but I've heard that Curt will be coming out with a version that secures to a gooseneck hitch ball, like what we see with the Demco Recon # DM8550045-5W, which will essentially make it compatible with the OEM puck system in any vehicle.
I don't have a timeframe on when that is coming out though so if you're wanting to use the CrossWing now you'll need to use the Adapter Rail Kit # C29BR that installs in the puck system on your 2022 Ram 2500 (short or long bed) and gives you the base rail attachment points needed for the CrossWing.
