Snow Cable Recommendation for a 2013 Honda Pilot
Updated 12/06/2013 | Published 12/05/2013 >
Question:
I have a 2013 Honda pilot touring 4X4. The Owners Manual advises me to use cable-type: QCC PREMIUM COBRA 1046P. I was hoping to go with a cable/chain that had a self tensioner on it as well as chains and not cables.. The manual states because your vehicle has limited tire clearance, we strongly recommend using the chains listed above. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Tire size P235/60R18.

Since your owners manual states to use cables instead of chains I cannot safely recommend you attempt to use chains as that might cause clearance issues.
I would recommend the Snow Tire Chains # PWRS80for your P235/60R18 wheels. This is a cable chain setup that has rubber adjusters that provide constant tension.
Check out the review video I attached for these chains also.
