Replacement Rear Stop/Turn/Tail/License Plate Combo Cake Light for 1968 Pathfinder Travel Trailer

Updated 12/06/2013 | Published 12/04/2013

Question:

Hi - Looking for replacement of original 7 in dia Cake lights on an old Travel Trailer. Just lenses would be OK, but if whole assembly is available for replacement, would like that too. Any ideas? Thanks.

Thank you for providing the photo of the 7-inch combination Stop/Turn/Tail/License Plate Combo Cake Light from your 1968 Pathfinder travel trailer.

I was able to find photos and some comments on trailer owner forums regarding your 1968 Pathfinder trailer, but not any specific information regarding the manufacturer of the original light fixtures. Given the age of this venerable old trailer it is quite possible that the original manufacturer of the cake light is no longer in existence.

If there is a brand name and/or part reference number molded into the base or lens, or printed anywhere on it, with that information I can research further for you. If the lens portion is removable please advise its dimensions and mounting hole spacing; there is some chance that an aftermarket replacement lens might be adaptable to fit it.

We do offer a range of replacement trailer lighting, including combination Stop/Turn/Side Marker/Tail Lights such as the 7-inch # STL90RB from Optronics. This and other products in this size range are shown on the link provided. This surface-mount red-lens 12V LED light features 3-wire hookup, 31 LEDs and very low power consumption compared to incandescent lights. It mounts on 6-1/4-inch centers. This is the nearest to your original light in terms of dimensions and functions.

We also offer an incandescent light, part # ST90RB, which shares similar dimensions but which is a Stop/Tail light only with a 2-wire hookup.
