what could i add to a curt turning pin box on a 2022 flagstaff 5th wheel to stop chucking

It's actually the fifth wheel hitch that makes the biggest impact on chucking when fifth wheel towing. If it's a pivoting pin box like you mentioned it can also be from using the universal wedge instead of one custom fit for the hitch and pin box. For a fifth wheel hitch that is known to be very smooth and quiet the B and W Patriot part # BWRVK3255 would be a great option as it has a very tight jaw design as well as cushioning built into the head as well.
