Question:
Hi, I have an RV with a 7200 GVW, 5250 DRY WEIGHT GVW TW of 720 lbs, with battery, 2x 20lb propane tanks, bike rack mounted on A frame How large of Equalizer Hitch should I have? Im currently using an 800 lbs, but should I have 1000 lb bars, so I have a little wiggle room? Any information would be appreciated, Thanks

I do recommend upgrading the spring bars on your Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution System to the Replacement Spring Bars for Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution Systems part # EQ90-01-1099 which are rated for up to 1,000 lbs of tongue weight. The 1,000 lb spring bars are rated for 600 lb to 1,000 lbs of tongue weight so this will be the perfect spring bar for your trailer. The spring bar weight being in the middle of the system's capacity allows for the best performance with room for error or upgrading.
