Should Link Plate of Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution be Bent

Question:

I had dealship install my equalizer 4pt 12k WDH. I noticed the inner plates are bowed a bit not flat across the TT Frame with the bottom of the plate bent. Its appears the installer didnt hold the plate flat against the frame while tightened up the nuts evenly. I know they were torqued to specs, I watched that part. Do I need to replace the inner plates? Very hard to get a good pic, but hopefully these will help.

I'd see if you can get them to replace those plates. They really shouldn't be bending like that. We have them with part # EQ90-02-5200 but I would think they should replace them for bending them like that.
