Can You Carry a Motorcycle On 2021 Subaru Crosstrek with Factory 1-1/4" Hitch

Question:
I have a 2021 Subaru Crosstrek with factory installed hitch. I need to measure the hitch receiver, but it looks small compared to what I have seen on my Toyota Tacoma or Chevy Silverado. I am guessing its a 1 1/4 receiver. I am looking to put my dirtbike, a 2020 KTM 350, on a hitch rack. But I am pretty sure that the empty weight of the bike is about 215 lbs. I guess the limit of the Subaru tongue weight is 200 lbs, but I need to confirm this too. I dont know really anything about how all this works . So, Are you aware of any solutions?

The best option we offer for you to carry a dirt bike on the back of your 2021 Subaru Crosstrek would involve replacing the factory 1-1/4" hitch with a larger 2" hitch. I recommend the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver part # e98912 which is a bolt-on fit with no drilling required. This hitch has a 350 lb weight capacity but please keep in mind that if the vehicle is rated lower that's the one you'll need to go by. That info can be found in your owner's manual.
The etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver will then allow you to use a dirt bike carrier like the etrailer Motorcycle Carrier part # e98873 (58 lbs).
