Can Mounting Bracket on Conventional Ramp Door Spring Be Adjusted for Different Door Widths

Can the bracket on the side without the spring be moved along the rod for different door widths?

Expert Reply:

Yes, that's exactly how the mounting bracket width is adjusted for the Conventional Ramp Door Spring # 362SA7218. This ramp door spring will work with door widths in the 38" to 79" range ad you'll just cut the shaft/rod to accommodate the smaller door widths.
