Can Mounting Bracket on Conventional Ramp Door Spring Be Adjusted for Different Door Widths
Published 10/06/2022 >
Question:
Can the bracket on the side without the spring be moved along the rod for different door widths?

Yes, that's exactly how the mounting bracket width is adjusted for the Conventional Ramp Door Spring # 362SA7218. This ramp door spring will work with door widths in the 38" to 79" range ad you'll just cut the shaft/rod to accommodate the smaller door widths.
Attached is a review video for you to check out. Please note if you haven't installed something that uses a torsion spring before we highly recommend contacting a local garage door company to come do the installation for you.
