Is The SeeLeveL Sensor for RV Holding Tanks Compatible With Metal Tanks?

Can the monitor be used on a stainless steel tank?

I went ahead and checked out the SeeLeveL Sensor for RV Holding Tank Monitor # SE78VR and unfortunately they are not going to be compatible with metal tanks.
These sensors will work on most plastic or polyethylene holding tanks that contain water-soluble fluids.
And so, in order to use these sensors, you will need to change out your holding tanks unfortunately.
