How Much Clearance Inside Door is Needed For MORryde Flip Tread RV Steps MR42UR
Updated 09/30/2022 | Published 09/29/2022 >
Question:
With the steps folded up flat and moved into the travel position, how deep do they protrude into the RV? We have refrigerator that sticks out a few inches as you walk into the RV, so there is only one foot of totally empty space for the steps to be stowed.

Expert Reply:
According to MORryde, you need 5-1/2 inches of clearance from inside the door threshold to fold up the steps you asked about, which are the following part number:
- MORryde Flip Tread RV Steps for 23-3/4" to 28-1/4" Wide Doorways - 4 Steps # MR42UR
Since you mentioned having a foot of clearance, the # MR42UR will definitely be able to fold up without issue.
