Do You Have To Remove the Wheel Trays Each Time When Removing the 1 Bike Add-On for Kuat Transfer V2
Updated 09/27/2022 | Published 09/26/2022 >
Question:
Hi- I watched the video on installing the add on. If I want to take it off and just have two bike function, do I have to take off the tire trays, etc or can it be removed more intact to save time on reinstalling? We want the two bike function for on the back of our trailer, but 3 bike function for our truck. Thanks

In regards to the 1 Bike Add-On for Kuat Transfer V2 Bike Racks part # KU57FR, you don't have to remove and reinstall the wheel trays each time you want to use the add-on. The wheel trays will be installed onto the extension and then the extension gets bolted to the rack. When you are ready to remove the add-on just un-bolt the extensions with the wheel trays still in place.
