Im looking for the center hole dimensions from side to side on the Lippert Road Armor equalizer LC696740 and also the height from the top hole to the line between the shackle holes. Thanks Ray.

I have added a diagram for you below of the dimensions you wanted for the Road Armor Shock Absorbing Equalizer Kit - Tandem Axle # LC696740.

As you can see, the # LC696740 measures 6 inches from center to center of the mounting holes, and 3-1/2 inches from the top hole to the line between the shackle holes.

What if your new equalizer is 1" longer from the top hole on the equalizer to the bottom holes? Would adding longer shackles correct the geometry?

@DavidM If the equalizer has more spacing between the bolt holes then you'll want to go with shorter shackles to try to offset the different size.

@JonG I bought the cre3000 14-3/4”. When I bolt the equalizer to the hanger the two bottom holes of the cre3000 equalizer hang about an inch lower than the original equalizer. I have the 2-1/4” HD shackles which were the original length on the stock shackles. Should I use the 3-1/8” shackles instead to make up for that extra inch? I’m not sure if that equalizer being once inch lower will make the leaf springs not sit parallel with the frame of the trailer.

@DavidM Ah, I misunderstood what you were initially asking. Yes, in that case the longer shackle straps will help keep everything lined up like it originally was.
