Question:
Would 275/55/R20 snow chains work on my Armada with 275/60/R20 ?? Closest fit!
asked by: John P
Expert Reply:
Tire size 275/60-20 is not one of the fits for Glacier cables, # PW2028C. You would need to use # PW3029C. Ultimately though if you already have the other chains you can do a test fit on the Armada tires to determine if they are going to work or not. If they are not long enough or touch the rims, or if they do not come down far enough on the tire sidewalls then do not use them.
Be sure to consult the Armada owners manual for specific information on the use of tire chains. I have also included a link to our FAQ article on tire chains for you.
