Reese M5 Replacement Legs to Fit Puck System on 2018 Chevy Silverado 3500
Updated 09/22/2022 | Published 09/21/2022 >
Question:
Can I use these legs to swap the center section and head of my M5 hitch 27k Part number: RP30922 from my 22 F350 to my dads 2018 Chevy 3500? My goal is to have 2 sets of legs one Ford and one chevy and use the same center and head between the 2 trucks. I realize I will have to unbolt and reattach the legs depending on which truck its installed into.

Yes, you can use the Replacement Legs for Reese M5 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch for Chevy/GMC # RP30889 for connecting the middle section and head from your current Reese M5 for Ford Towing Prep Package # RP30922 so it fits the puck system on your dad's 2018 Chevy Silverado 3500.
The one thing you'll want to keep an eye on though is the strength of the bolts as they aren't designed to be constantly swapped back and forth so they will potentially wear down quicker if you have to do this swap fairly frequently.
