Replacement Straps for Thule 853-2569 Straps on Bike Rack

Question:
I have an old bike rack that has square cradle pegs and straps to go with it. Ive seen your recommended replacement straps that fit most, my concern is that they are all circular and Im just not sure how secure that would be over a square peg. Ive attached photos for your reference, any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance. Best

You're correct, the straps with the round holes probably would not fit well on your bike rack. Luckily, we have the direct replacement for the 853-2569 straps you have in the pictures. What you need is the Replacement Cradle Strap for Thule Parkway Bike Racks # 853-2569. These are actually the 1500031020 which replaced the old 853-2569 straps like yours.
