Question:
I have the Firestone loadlifter 5000 air bags on my 2009 Dodge Ram 2500. Is it possible to purchase just the airbags that have the internal jounce bump stop in them,

Expert Reply:
Unfortunately without changing out the whole kit there is no way to add just the internal jounce bump stop in your current Firestone airbag system on your 2009 Dodge Ram Pickup. I recommend The Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate Air Helper Springs with Internal Jounce Bumpers # AL88295.
The jounce spring inside each air spring helps to improve the ride comfort, reduce sway, and help with cornering. The jounce springs are made out of a 2-ply fabric-reinforced rubber.
The load-leveling capacity is up to 5,000 pounds. These airbags will not increase your vehicle's weight-carrying capacity. Do not exceed the manufacturer's recommended weight limit. The adjustable air pressure is between 5 psi to 100 psi.
