Question:

Hi, We have a Thule EasyFold XT 2 bike rack that were using with an RV based on a Mercedes Benz Sprinter. The rack has been great for us. When we drive in rain or on dirt roads, however, the bikes get very dirty. We’d like to cover then but when we do that the lights on the van are blocked. We’re thinking of adding temporary trailer lights to the rack. However, we’re not sure what type would be best or how to mount them most are magnetic. Would you have any suggestions? To add lights to your Thule EasyFold XT Bike Rack # TH903202 I recommend checking out the Curt Auxiliary LED Indicator Lights # C53201. These use adhesive to stick to the rack and have connectors to a 4-Way flat plug for the basic lighting functions. This is a very simple solution that solves the lighting problem for a lot of bike rack and cargo carrier styles.
