The Replacement Exterior Vehicle Antenna for SureCall Vehicle and RV Signal Boosters item # SC52MR you referenced has a maximum signal boost of 2.5 dBi.
The antennas range is determined by the booster it is connected to. Yes, it has the extended range but only if it has enough power behind it.
