I have a 99 ford f 350 trying to wire a Tekonsha P3 brake controller up what colors go to what

If you are using the OEM wiring adapter, the controller would wire to the adapter as follows. The red wire on the adapter would wire to the black wire on the controller, the light green adapter wire connects to the red wire on the controller, the white wires would connect together as well as the blue wires. If there is a brown wire present, it would not be used.
Another option would be to use a # 3035-P wiring adapter. One end would plug into the connector under the dash, the other end would plug into the rear of the P3 brake controller.

I had no info on the reverse wiring colors and could not determine the brown wire connection I now have red to black blue to blue white to white and green to red brown not used 30 amp fuse installed Thanks
