Can Curt Echo Mobile Brake Controller be Used with 7-Way Adapter

We have a 2022 Subaru Outback. It has a 4 pin connecter. Our Hiker Trailer has a 7 pin connector. We can purchase an adapter to make the 7 pin a 4 pin NEW SUN RV 7 Way Blade to 4 Way Flat Trailer Adapter Waterproof 7 Pin to 4 Pin Trailer Adapter with Dust Cover. Could the Curt Echo be hooked into the adapter and work. It says it will fit the 2022 Outback but only has 4 pins Do you sell another wireless product that will fit 4 pins?

The Curt Echo Mobile brake controller part # C51180 can easily be used with a 4-way to 7-way adapter. You'd only need to make sure that one of the 7-way circuits was active beyond the trailer lighting circuits with the 12 volt accessory circuit. If this isn't active you'd need to run 10 gauge wire like part # 10-1-1 through a breaker like part # 9510 to the positive post of the vehicle battery and you'd be set.
