Does Demco Hydraulic Actuator part # DM8204311 Have Torque Specs

Question:

I just changed actuator do I need to tork my bolts on new actuator.

The Demco Hydraulic Brake Actuator w/ Drop and Electric Lockout # DM8204311 does not have a torque spec listed for it. Instead you'd need to determine what the hardware you used torque specs are and go with that.

If you torque the bolts to bolt specs it bends the frame inwards before you even reach torque. Why would yo do that? And it affects the movement of the surge from sliding.

@MarkP If that's case don't torque to the point of bending the actuator.

@JamesonC If you don’t torque them, then they’re too loose. I got the correct info straight from Demco on how to properly install it

@MarkP What did they say? When I wrote this initial answer it was a few years ago so at time there wasn't a install procedure.
