Fifth Wheel to Gooseneck Solution for 2009 Kaufman Car Hauler

Question:

I have a 2009 Kaufman 36’ 2 car hauler that is setup for a 5th wheel. It has a square tube neck. I drive a 2020 Chevy 3500HD shortbed truck that has a gooseneck setup. I need a gooseneck coupler that will work with my truck and trailer. I can send pictures of the trailer

There may be a pin box replacement solution for your Kaufman car hauler but I would need to know what pin box you have on the trailer currently to determine this. Otherwise you could use an adapter like the Convert a Ball # CAB-C5G which attaches to the pin box and provides a gooseneck coupler for the trailer to attach. This will work regardless of your pin box but if you would prefer a pin box replacement like the Reese Goose Box I would need to know what you have now.
