Hi, I am trying to outfit my 2019 BMW X5 with 2 sets of the Thule Hullavator knack racks. My current bars run front to back flush mounted. Can you tell me which and what size cross bars I would need to accommodate the 4 - 8 inches in overhang I would need Thank you

I would be happy to help you set up your 2019 BMW X5 with a roof rack. Since you have the flush mount rails you are going to want the following parts to mount a Thule Hullavator item # TH898.

Rhino-Rack Vortex Aero Crossbars - Aluminum - 65" Black item # RRVA165B-2

The Hullavator item # TH898 takes up approximately 28-1/2" of cross bar space so you would need at least 57" bars. The 65" bars will give you plenty of room for two of them and the extra length on either side will allow them to fully function. The lift assist feature drops the kayaks down about 36". I have added an installation video at the bottom of this page so you can see how the crossbars are attached.
