Recommended Replacement For a Dometic 641915c751c0 Rooftop RV Air Conditioner Unit

Question:

I currently have a 2017 Forest River Blue Ridge 5th wheel trailer. My front AC is having vibration problems that get worse in the evening and literally shake the entire trailer but not always. My dometic ac number is 641915c751c0. Apparently there are no new dometic units available at this time but am willing to go to a different brand if there are no surprises during installation. Also would consider an upgrade to a 15k btu if available. What do you recommend?

To replace the Dometic AC unit currently on your 2017 Forest River Blue Ridge 5th wheel trailer, you're going to want the Furrion Chill Replacement RV Air Conditioner item # FR42PV. This rooftop unit will replace just the rooftop unit of the Dometic system. It has a wire harness adapter for a simple plug-and-play installation so that you can still use your Dometic thermostat. This will be an upgrade as it is a 15,000 Btu unit. We have found the Furrion units blow the coldest air and are a bit quieter than other options.
