Why is the Set Button Flashing on My Everchill RV Fridge When it is Turned Off

Refrigerator is off but set button still flashing

When you power off an Everchill RV fridge like the Everchill RV Refrigerator w/ Freezer # 324-000119 by holding the set button down for 10 seconds, the fridge enters standby mode and the LED "set" button will be flashing. You would then press the button again for 10 seconds to power the fridge back on and the light will be on.
This is normal operation for the light to be flashing when powered off.
