Solution For A Replacement Top Channel Rubber For Crossbars On A 2021 Kia Sorrento

Question:

Hi, I have horizontale bar from kia on my 2021 sorento. The rubber strip on top of the bar is missing and it’s noisy. I’m not sure what to choose as a replacement. The groove is 10mm wide.

We do have some potential options that may very well work for your 2021 Kia Sorrento, however without knowing what crossbars you have or what size the top track is, I cannot say for certain.

For instance we have the:

-Replacement Rubber Strip for Thule Aero Load Bars # TH853354407,

Which is designed to be a replacement for the Thule Aero Load Bars, however this strip is designed to fit into a top channel that is 7/16" wide at the top, and 7/8" at the bottom.

If your top channel has the same measurements, then this will work great for you, however if not please feel free to let me know what bars you have, and or what size your top channel is.
