How to Remove B&W and Reese Gooseneck Hitch Balls for OEM Puck Systems

To remove the hitch ball from the B&W Ball and Safety Chain Kit # BWGNXA2061 you'll press the lever release prior to rotating the handle up to the "carry" position. This retracts the ball bearings so you can remove the hitch ball.

To remove the hitch ball from the Reese Elite Series Pop-In Ball Kit # RP30137 you'll need to pop up and rotate that black piece in the top of the hitch ball. This retracts the ball bearings for this setup so you can remove the hitch ball.
