Yes, you can install the Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty Brake Controller # RED24FR on your 2020 Ford F-150 XLT. You will need the Tekonsha Plug-In Wiring Adapter # 22292 to connect to the factory connector on your F-150 that came with a 7-way towing connector. Then you will connect the Liberty to the Tekonsha harness using the Adapter # 331-TPH-017.
There is a chance that your factory connector will not have battery power on the connector. If your connector does not have power you will need the Power Wire Kit # BRK-ELECKIT.
The Universal Mounting Panel # 331-TPSI-001 will give you a factory look and helps to give a clean look so others know what it is.

I have the 2018 f 150 without pins in #24 fuse slot, and an oem brake control in-dash unit. Ford has a solution that adds a fused wire to a connector behind the glove box, but it requires cutting a wire,12 ga? Flush at connector and splicing there. Not to excited about that. Appears to cut power to something, maybe it IS the trailer controller power feed. I have a circuit breaker and was planning to connect to the controller, however small wire sizes there make it appear as a low power power relay device. Any information on that?
