What is the difference between this step and the mr85hr? Is one a newer model?

The MORryde Quick Connect RV Steps for 21-1/2" to 27-1/2" Entry Height # MR85HR is the newer model to the steps part MR73RR you referenced. The upgraded differences are that the newer model has a wider top step, they added the quick release leg feature, the mount style is a little different, and the grab handle on the top step was removed.
These fit the same purpose and applications though. I've attached a review video of the newer model for you to check out.
