Installation of Curt Wiring Harness on 2022 Mazda CX-5

The Curt powered tailight converter part 56496 needs to splice into the vehicles wires at rear of vehicle. Which wires in the vehicle power which signals? Trying to do this without a tester.

The best way to identify the wires on your 2022 Mazda CX-5 is going to be with a tester like the # PTW2993. Wiring colors are not universal, and I was unable to find a wiring diagram that might show this.
You could try to contact a local dealer to see if they have this information. If you don't want to use a tester, the only other way to do it is splice into wires until you find the right one which I would not recommend.
Also, it looks like you only have the # C56496. You will also need the Powered Converter Wiring Kit # 55151 to complete the installation.
