Question:

We want to bring some bikes along with the warmer weather. I was thinking the ladder on the 5th wheel might be ok for this since both are light weight bikes. Would this work, Or should I go with the Surco? Opinions?

This bike rack can hole up to two bikes weighing 25-lbs each, which since you mentioned you have some pretty light weight bikes, would work for you.

However, if you needed a rack that has quite a bit more capacity, the:

-Surco 2 Bike Carrier for Vans and RVs # SP501BR is also a great choice that still offers a 2-bike capacity, but a much higher maximum weight capacity of 75-lbs.
