Question:
Many reviews recommend an extension for Cargo Carrier Light Kit For 52017 and 52018. Do you sell those? If so, how do I find the correct one on your website? Thank you.

We do offer a 4-foot extension wire equipped with 4-pole flat vehicle- and trailer-side connectors, part # 18044 from Draw-Tite. If this is longer than you need we also offer a 1-foot extension, part # 9653P, which also provides the same plug-in extension capability. No cutting or splicing is required for either extension.
I recommend an application of dielectric grease on all connections when you install your light kit. We offer this (part # 11755) but it is also available locally at any auto parts or hardware store. This grease protects the connections from moisture and the resultant corrosion that can occur. I have linked an article that details this product and how to apply it to your connectors.
