Question:
How many amps does the MC65AB light draw?
asked by: Mike S
Helpful Expert Reply:
According to my Optronics representative, the Optronics Sealed Trailer Clearance and Marker Light, part # MC65AB draws a total of 0.6 amps at 12.8-volts. An LED version is also available, part # MCL75AB which draws a fraction of that, 0.06 amps at 12.8-volts. Either lamp is used with a base, part # A65PB in black or # A67CB in chrome plated plastic. The lamp base has a single power wire, and picks up its grounding connection by its mounting hardware being connected directly to the trailer frame.
