Weight Distribution Recommendation for 2022 Honda Ridgeline Towing Trailer with 450 lb Tongue Weight

Question:

Good morning! Purchasing a 2022 honda ridgeline. Looking at getting a weight distributing hitch set up for a 7×12 aero enclosed trailer. Tandem axle, gvw will never exceed 4k. Tongue weight will be between 450 and 500 lbs. Hoping to get a suggestion or two for this set up. Thank you very kindly!

The weight distribution system that has the best sway control and is properly rated for your tongue weight that will be between 450 and 500 lbs is the Reese Strait Line part # RP66083. This would be my first pick as your best option as it has a tongue weight range of 400-800 lbs and has the best sway control at fighting sway before it starts.

Or if you were wanting something a little more economically priced the Reese round bar setup part # RE94FR would be a great choice too. The sway control isn't as advanced but it does a great job reducing it as it happens.
