Question:

Hi, Ive lost the key for this bike rack that locks the top. I see that you sell replacement keys but looks like the key number you sell is 003. This lock is marked 004. Would the key you sell work? Would you know how I can buy a key if it does not? Thanks!

I am not sure what bike rack you are referring to but the key marked 003 you were looking at Replacement Key for Surco Bike Racks - Key #003 - Qty 1 item # SPN-100-003 only fits Surco Bike racks where the cylinder is marked 003. It will not fit cylinders marked 004. This is the only Surco replacement key we offer. We do offer another replacement key for an 004 lock cylinder it is the Replacement Key for Thule Racks and Carriers - N004 item # THKEYN004. This will only fit Thule racks and carriers. If you have a Surco bike rack you may be able to find a 004 replacement key online. If you end up having to cut off your lock we do offer a replacement. It is the Replacement Bolt & Locking Knob for Surco 51953 Bike Rack item # SPN-104 and it would come with a new set of keys.
