Spare Leaf Springs, Shackle Kit, and Spring Hangers for a 2019 Grand Design Reflection 303RLS

Question:

Hi, Im planning a long trip and would like to bring extra parts with me. I have a 2019 Grand Design Reflection 303RLS. The axels are Dexter 5200 lbs. Im looking at the following shackles, wet bolds and bushings: MORryde Suspension Upgrade Kit for Tandem Axle Trailers - 2-1/4" Long Shackle Straps item # MR46ZR Is this correct? Do you have a recommendation for a leaf spring? and a suspension hanger? Thanks.

Since your 2019 Grand Design Reflection 303RLS has 5,200 lbs Dexter axles you will most likely have 25-1/4" long double eyed leaf springs. You will want to measure to confirm but if this is what your 5th wheel currently has you will want the 5-Leaf Double-Eye Spring for 6,000-lb Trailer Axles - 25-1/4" Long item # e34SR as spares.

The MORryde Suspension Upgrade Kit for Tandem Axle Trailers - 2-1/4" Long Shackle Straps item # MR46ZR will work well with these leaf springs but you will again want to confirm that you have 2-1/4" long shackle straps currently on your 5th wheel. You'll also need to knock the nylon bushings out of the leaf springs and use the bronze bushings included in the kit, as the grease used to lube the wet bolts will deteriorate the nylon bushings.

For replacement spring hangers you will want to use the Tandem-Axle Trailer Hangers for 1-3/4" Wide Double-Eye Springs - 3-1/4" Tall Front item # H248.
