Question:
We have a 2018 Jayco 31UL will be getting a 7X14foot enclosed cargo trailer, tandom axle brakes on all four wheels. Will me need to add a brake controller like a Teconsha that we had to put on our pick-up to tow a travel trailer? Or is there already some sort of controller built into the Jayco on the F53 chassis

When it comes to installing a trailer brake controller on your 2022 Jeep WK Grand Cherokee when towing your 2018 Jayco 31UL I recommend The Tekonsha Prodigy P3 Trailer Brake Controller - 1 to 4 Axles - Proportional # 90195 and The Tekonsha Plug-In Wiring Adapter for Electric Brake Controllers # TK93VR.
The Tekonsha proportional brake controller automatically levels when mounted within a 360-degree vertical range. It includes a customizable LCD display, and has up to 5 storable settings, and offers 3 boost levels. It has battery protection and has a continuous diagnostics, it can be transferable between automobiles.
Install the electric brake controller quickly and easily when using the custom wiring adapter. One end plugs into the brake controller when the other one plugs into the built-in harness beneath your vehicle's dash.
