Will Connectivity Issued Cause Problems for Curt Mobile Echo Brake Controller Function

Question:

CURT 51180 Echo Mobile Electric Trailer Brake Controller with Bluetooth-Enabled Smartphone Connection If I lose my wireless on my computer, I lose my web page. If I lose connectivity to my trailer will I lose my trailer. It says it will use the last settings programmed into it. Is that safe? Has it caused problems? Im not sure if I should go this route, or a standard brake controller that sits under the dash for my 2019 Silverado 2500. What would you recommend?

If for some reason your phone lost connection to the Curt Echo Mobile brake controller # C51180 it will still function properly without any loss of performance. The connection between the phone and the controller is really only for making adjustments and not required for the controller to function. This specific issue has not been a problem.
